In the second quarter of 2023 alone, CIPS handled 1.62 million transactions totaling 29.49 trillion yuan ($4.06 trillion), reflecting year-on-year increases of 60.4% in transaction volume and 29.04% in transaction value. 

 

By the end of December 2024, CIPS had processed a cumulative total of approximately 600 trillion yuan ($81.83 trillion) in various payment transactions since its launch.
