Give it a try, a lot of republicans hated Trump but feared if they speak openly of their dislike of Trump, not only their political career but their personal lives will be in danger. But deep down, a lot of Republicans are sick and tired of Trump.
I believe that's how a lot of Russian elites and officials felt about Putin. They hated Putin and wanted him gone. But Putin can stay in power by: 1) assassination of all opponents in the name of some excuses; 2) total control of media and hence people's mind.
To be honest, for Nazis, you cannot be polite and afraid of using violence. Because violence is the only language Nazi speaks. If Hitler was surgically removed before WWII, how many lives would have bend saved, including those Germen soldiers? It is much easier to target those Nazi heads instead of dealing with the entire Nazi war machine, troops and missiles. Want to avoid WWIII, then you know what to do.
