众议院中国问题特别委员会主席、威斯康星州共和党众议员迈克·加拉格尔(Mike Gallagher) 周六表示，他不会在 11 月份寻求连任。Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-Wisc.), the chair of the House Select Committee on China, said Saturday he will not seek reelection in November.
众议院拨款委员会主席凯·格兰杰（德克萨斯州共和党）、金融服务委员会主席帕特里克·麦克亨利（注册护士）和能源与商业委员会主席凯西·麦克莫里斯·罗杰斯（华盛顿州共和党）均即将退休。House Appropriations Committee Chair Kay Granger (R-Texas), Financial Services Committee Chair Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) and Energy & Commerce Committee Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.) are all retiring.

另外，五位资深和党委员会成员也要退休。
