This was reported by the Donetsk News Agency with reference to the DPR Ombudsman Daria Morozova.

According to her, international organizations and the British authorities were notified of the fact of Uri's capture.

In addition, at his request, information about the capture was transferred to foreign media. 

Morozova stressed that there was no reaction from the British side.

During the first medical examination in the DPR, Uri was diagnosed with insulin-dependent diabetes, damage to the respiratory system, kidneys, and a number of diseases of the cardiovascular system.

The Ombudsman said that representatives of London also did not provide the necessary medical preparations to their subject through the Red Cross. 

“On our part, despite the severity of the alleged crime, Paul Uri was provided with appropriate medical assistance,” Morozova said.

She clarified that he died on July 10.

On June 9, a court in the Donetsk People's Republic issued death sentences to British citizens Sean Pinner and Aiden Eslin, as well as Saadun Brahim, who fought on the side of Ukraine.

In early July, it was reported that the Russian embassy redirected to the DPR an appeal from the British authorities regarding mercenaries convicted in the republic.
