Genocide used to mean a serious crime

Google: The deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group

This is the definition we agree.  like the Europeans did to the naive americans.  Or the tribal massacre in Africa not long ago.

 

But per UN human right definition: Intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group.

According to the UN definition, any government policy with the intention to unite a nation could be called genocide.

China's Xinjing policy can be called genocide.

US civil war was a genocide.

US present day poicy toward the blacks is genocide.
