Dalai doesn't accept the Hongknog's autonomy . He want to be absolutely independent, but he also doesn't want to lose Chinese support.

That's just like a kid wants his parents to take care of him but not to discipline him.

Dalai is not a "God" but he treat you to consider he is a "God".
