I've witnessed family hysteria over cross-racial marriages.

It's good to hear that people's mind is opening up.  I do believe prosper can lead to empathy and compassion. Well, Guangzhou is a city ahead of most of the rest of the country being one of the first that was opened up by Deng Xiaoping.
