战争之下，“战争部”的一个分神话题

中东战争爆裂，而远在万里外的美国人也高度关注。不论是为国捐躯的几位军人的家属们，为了汽油价上涨而面目凝重的普通驾车人，那多惦记亲人安全的美国军人的至爱亲朋，还有即将与已经加入今年“期中选举”的各级各类共和党竞选者，对战争的感情或是关注都强烈并深刻。

这之外，也有一名美国人对战争有些非同寻常的关注角度。这位吗，就是“战争部”的部长 Pete Hegseth 先生。

今天，2026年3月11日，华邮有一篇文章，题目在此：

That’s what they care about, unflattering pictures of themselves. We have an illegal war destroying our economy and killing our people, but let’s focus on the glam shots of Pete Hegseth.

Yeah..you know how we women are…one bad photo, we dissolve into tears. . Apparently, just like the Secretary of War.

I think the Post should publish all the 'unflattering' photos - in the interests of transparency, of course.

I'm a photographer, and try to show the spirit of a person I'm photographing. My guess is that the photos showed the true inner ugliness of the man. Good photographer.

You could not make this stuff up.

Awww, somebody's feelings got hurt. Where's that "Warrior" spirit and being a man frat-boy Heggie?

So glad the Pentagon is focusing on these critical matters right now - nothing else of any importance is going on.

“…members of Hegseth’s staff told colleagues that they did not like the way that the secretary looked.”  I agree and feel sorry for his staff who have to look at him every single day.

So why doesn’t this article have the photos in question?

No crying in wartime.
