I guess you are talking about behavior (or psycho) economics. The assumption that people are rational is 完全忽略人的本性? Maybe behavior (or psycho) economics can describe you better than rational assumption. I am probably more in rational side. But for most people, they are in between, so we need both (imperfect) theories, and they are complementary to each other.
