However I have tasted creations with beef shanks, or with diced beef chuck roast, in Poland, Czec Republic, and Russia
Supposedly there are many other versions of Borscht all over the eastern Europe.
Perhaps there is no one single correct answer to the question, after all.
Then why are we all worked up ?
