suggest u read some basic investment books first

Do you mean Roth IRA, traditional IRA, or etc.?
Even you choose the right company, you could choose the wrong fund, because different people have different financial need, projected returns, risk tolerance, and etc.
I highly recommend you understand the basics first. The Morningstar Guide to Mutual Funds is a pretty good book for beginners.
