I was shopping for mirin today, didnt find

the real one (hon mirin) in the store that i got one bottle last time. It now only carries aji-mirin that I don't care for.

So what is mirin? It's like sweet sake. And aji-mirin is a mix of sake with sugar.

In the ingredient list on mirin bottles, real mirin doesn't contain corn syrup or sugar.
