Orthodox Jews can't really eat Chinese food
Because based on the Jewish law, there shouldn't be any pork or shellfish cooked in the kitchen and all the restrictions also apply to the utencils and cookwares. Meat and diary are separated. This means most of the Jews living in Brooklin, who are Hasidic, would never go to a non kosher certified restaurant, such as a Chinese restaurant. Only secular Jews or Jews who don't keep kosher would go to Chinese restaurants on Christmas.
