Rice field is often contaminated with arsenic, heavy metals

We seldom eat rice, maybe once or twice for two, three weeks.
I only choose rice when my husband gets tired of other options, noodles, dumplings, pasta, etc...
He loves home made pizza, grilled cheese sandwich, I can't eat that everyday so occasionally we eat some rice.
Rice plant sucks in underground water deeply, that's why it has long been polluted by heavy metals.
