We didn't have much luck
growing them. Some korean friend gave us seeds, but they barely grew. At one point, it's quite expensive,like $3 for a bundle of about 20 pieces. Now there is a local store here selling them $5/pound.
Since the flavor is very strong, not everyone like it. The pickled version tasted a bit like the greek grape-leave, but much better, IMHO.
