HELP:PC cannot start,online waiting

I think it is hardware problem. last night, after shut down PC(emachine),there are "PaPa" sounds and harddriver indicator light flash continually, then I unpluged the cable. THis morning PC cannot start after press start button. Checked cables and transformer， OK。 My PC used three years, and it is emachine570, any ideas?
