excel set decimal place

When I paste any number to the excel sheet, the number will have decimal point and two zeros after that. I know that I can choose format cell to change the decimal place for numbers to zero, but I would like to know if there is any way to set the decimal place for numbers to zero by default so that I will not have this problem any more. Thanks!
