If you want to buy a high quality DVD writer, I suggest that you buy it in USA even you want to use it in China. Brands like Sony, NEC, Plextor, Pioneer, Toshiba, Lite-On are all high quailty products. By the way, their prices are not that expensive in USA either. The QA of products in China is not always good, especially those sold by the small business.
