XP HOME does not support Terminal Service (so you say:远程桌面连接). Only XP professinal and above support this service. Windows 2000 professional does not support it either.

As you said that you want to set up a "Dial In" account via PPTP on XP home. It is impossible (at least as I know). If you want to serve a VPN, you need a VPN server software or hardware which suppors PPTP or L2TP or and IPSec. I do not think XP home supports VPN server, but you can connect from your XP home computer to a VPN server. In this case, you can use PPTP/L2TP or IPSec (you need a VPN client software installed on your XP home before you can use IPSec protocal). In one word, XP home has build-in PPTP/L2TP CLIENT function, but no server function!
