Of course it bothers me

I misplaced the serial# and it's only intended for my Dell laptop. My desktop is not from Dell. The next plan is to install the OEM XP on my dell desktop and then use Ghost to image the hard disk.. hope that works out.

I think XP performance wise is better. At work I have win2000 professional, 2.8 GHz CPU, 2 GB RAM but it runs slow in comparison to XP with 2.4 GHz CPU + 1 GB RAM! Unbelivable.
