how to set up a http server

i connected my two computer through a router. i set up a http server(apache) in one of them and set up the vitual server through using tcp protocol. it was working before. but after i using *****oss(tomcat), it was not working any more, even after i stop the *****oss server. what could be the problem? thanks a lot!
