Notebook water damage, help!!!

I accidentally spill water onto my Dell notebook which was purchased last November. quickly after it happened, the power of notebook went off. I flip over the notebook to let excessive water flow out and let it exposed for the day today.

The question is, can I try to start it tonight? if it doesn't power up, will this be considered under waranty of Dell(1 year)?
