help:ivalid configuration info

When I turn on my computer, I find an error below:

Ivalid configuration information- please run setup program.
Time-of-day not set-please run setup program.
strike F1 to continue, F2 to run setup utility.

Does this mean that my computer encounters a big problem? how to resolve it?
