The gcc you mentioned *is* the compiler. What else do you want? Do you understand what a compiler is? Not sure what the packages come with a default Lindows installation, but by all means it is damned easy to install gcc onto a linux OS. It would be ridiculous if gcc is not able to be installed onto Lindows.
