I asked my sister to right click on "My Computer" on the desktop and then "Properties", which shows "480MB of Ram."

I am also very curious that they installed 480MB ram for her as it really takes some math, you know, to get that number. So I assume they did install 512MB but out of which 32MB is used as shared video memory. But if 512MB physical memory is installed, should System show 512MB instead of 480MB? This is a question really out of my capacity.
