C++ installation problem

Someone please help me.
I have a C++ CD, but every time I install it, it says" (process has already existed) has generate errors and will be closed by windows, you will need to restart your computer". The version I download does the same thing. I really need to use it. Please help. Wait on-line. Thanks so much!
