about explorer.exe

Tonight download some movies from my friend's mobile harddrive, copyed film one by one to Myvedio folder. when I open that folder, the pagefile usage increased rapidly (in windows task manager), it can reach to 1.4G, then the windows stop to loading. I saw EXPLORER.EXE in the process tray, which CPU usage up to 99%, the most PU used by it. Is that virus in the file? Can anyone explain it. Many thanks.
