MSN Messenger 6.0?

It's a known problem for 6.0. If you or your father upgraded to MSN 6.0 recently, you could have the problem. There seems to be no single solution but a number of things you can check. Do a search on Google like "MSN Messenger 6.0 audio", you will see that problem has been discussed quite a bit. Try follow those leads.
