I am not an expert. Just my 2 cents.

1). Redhat AS, Fedora, Suse and Debian
2). Redhat is supporting Fedora, which is a community linux version.
you can get it from fedora.redhat.com
3). If you computer is no more than 3 years old, try to get a
newer linux version.
