Have to make DVD movie

I download a movie using BT, several .vob files,
total 4.7GB
I am using a DVD 4x burner with Nero.
How can I make a DVD movie that it can be played
from DVD-player? Can Nero handle this?
what kind of disks shall I use, DVD-R or +R?
