NTLDR is a system file. When you see this message it tells you two things: 1.your OS is missing a critical system file and it cannot boot. 2.even you tried to boot from CD but it didn't work. It still tried to boot from the hard drive (which is in troble). To boot from CD you must go to BIOS and set the boot sequence. Make sure to set CD as the 1st boot device and then try to boot from CD again. Good luck!
