我的laptop里没有找到10/100 Ethernet PCMCIA card，只有3Com 10/100 Mini PCI Ethernet Adapter。昨天发贴问这两者是否是一回事，一位朋友回答如下：

“PCMCIA Ethernet card is for OLD laptops that do not have an ethernet port builtin. It sound like you do have one already so you should be fine.

Go to your library, plug the ethernet cable into your LAN port, you should be good to go. ”

所以我马上就去买了RJ45 Ethernet cable，但就是找不到插口。在电话线插口旁边，有另一个稍大一点、封闭的插口(大小好象和ethernet cable的插口差不多)，是否我要把盖子撬开？还是我的机子因为没有PCMCIA card，因此没有插口？那是不是3Com 10/100 Mini PCI Ethernet Adapter和10/100 Ethernet PCMCIA card不是一回事？
