If your notebook is not too old then it should have USB port
built-in (10mm x 5mm slot). Just buy an external USB 2.0 enclosure
and a USB cable normally comes with the package, such as this one:

COOLMAX 3.5"/ 5.25" USB 2.0 BLACK External Enclosure

No other cables are needed. Good luck.
