P4 3.0E Prescott Temperature Q

I try to customize a new computer,
using retail P4 3.0E with MSI PT880-LSI motherboard.

From the CMOS monitor, the pc health status shows the temperature of the idle CPU is 51 Celsius, while the ambient is 22C. I don't dare to run any fancy game :-(

Please help me to tell what is wrong?

How high is your CPU's temperature and what heatsink and thermal compound are you using?

I appreciate any input here.
