not working 5555555

I changed the booting sequance to start with CD ROM, and then insert disk 3/5, then restart. Than bang, it said "process is aborted/failed because of wrong machine". The dos prompt did show "A:\>" though and I don't have a way to change it to "D" over cmd. Anyway to work around? Thanks!
