more explanation of problem

The problem is the original installation CD is not working! When I tried to use that CD to install, it says "error(-1)" then exit to DOS.

When I installed using Windows 2000 CD, it keeps saying "XX file can not be copied", I have to press "Retry" several times to get it going. After computer restarts, it will halt somewhere or show a blue screen with "Dumping Physical Memory".

I thought it was the problem of my DVD-ROM(that's my primary CD-ROM). I opened the case today and disconnected my DVD-ROM. I set the jumper of my CDRW to make it primary. Now the Windows 2000 installation has the same problem, but the system won't recogzine the original Sony installation disk!
