Appears the key is hijacked

Some further clarification:
1) It appears the key 'r' is hijacked by this possible virus as the key is supressed at almost all the time (no response to my key pressing).
2) The attack appears to be periodical and it sends key 'r' to any dialog fields of any active applications when the attact occurs, for example, when editing a file, the registry, or in a dialogue of any applications.

Any tips are very much appreciated.
