need help on HP laptop recovery. Thanks

recovery failed with "uiadump32.exe has stopped working" after 4 disks of dvd recovery. google somebody said need whole hard disk wipeout before recovery. 

how can i format or re-partitoin hard drive without os system? I didn't find any partition tool in my recovery disk. Also didn't find any thing on HP support site.
