You don't need two cards, only need one card with multiple outpu

Most video cards have more than one outputs now. But you need to check what kind outputs on the card, and the inputs on your monitor. Better buy a card with DVI and HDMI outputs, instead of Displayport and HDMI. Only a few monitors have Displayport input.
