help, please!

I have a dell 8200 notebook computer coming with windows xp. When if I install softwares, either original or non-original version, the computer always gives me an information and shut off automatically. The information sounds like, "you install a new...., if it's the first time to have this information, go to restart your computer. if it's the second time, go to contact your software manufacture...." i have no idea about this computer. Could anyone tell me how to get rid of this problem. I call dell techniques service a couple of times, it seems to me they can not help me to resolve this problem. Help.........!
