Check as follows:

1. Before starting glassfish, check whether your machine has already listened on port 4848 by some other application.

2.  If yes, read the manual of glassfish domain creation command (asadmin) and create domain manually with different port numbers and then register the domain with Netbeans.

3. If not, check your firewall settings.
