lol, i was wondering what "工丈" was...

the biggest problem in chinese writting is - sound and writing are not linked, we had to remember both, needless to say, it's double effort.  in latin rooted languages, virtually people can spell out a word as only as one knows the sound. 

pinyin is a right direction but inferior.  that is the task scholars need to work on...
