you can not even get on youtube and facebook. wxc is also blocked for sure. vpn works but it also depends on where you are in china. i had no problem using my vpn server at home in the US from Beijing but it was not working well at all in Zhuhai. if you have a vpn server, you need to make sure all internet traffic is going through vpn as well as name server.
