这个笔记本硬盘还有救吗？

Toshiba satellite M35x， Windows XP Home
Tuesday night, 1/12/2010, the Toshiba laptop worked fine. Left on overnight scanning with "Windows Defender".
Wednesday morning, there were error messages. Restart failed. Shutdown. Wednesday night, Checked BIOS and it didn't recognize the hard drive. Tried to remove and reconnect the hard drive. Not able to start Windows. Tried more times. Once there was a screaming sound and shutdown immediately. The hard drive has been quiet since then.
