1.From the Windows XP desktop, select Start > Control Panel > Phone and Modem Options (or Printers and Other Hardware then Phone and Modem Options)

2.Select the Modems tab
Alternately, you may access Phone and Modem Options by selecting Start > Run and typing control modem.cpl

3.Right-click the appropriate modem from the list and select Properties

4.Select the Advanced tab

5.In the Extra Initialization Commands field, enter the appropriate modem commands
Express Network: at$qcmdr=3
Quick 2 Net: at$qcmdr=2

5.Click OK and OK again
