Yes, I installed it yesterday. Now I need to learn how to use it

I have three partition on my hard drive. The first is 2GB and Linux Puppy is installed there. The second partition is swap 256MB, the final partition is the rest of the drive.

My question is: When I try to save a file, how do I save it to the final partition? It seems that I can only save file to the root partition.
