please do the following test:


1.Share a folder in one PC. say: myshare. take a note of that PC's IP address. say, 192.168.1.50

2. From the other PC/laptop, go to file Explorer. type:

\\192.168.1.50\myshare

Does it prompt you for user name and password and shows you the folder.
