电脑大侠快帮帮忙，，，急急急

我的电脑用 WIN XP。 I Installed Java couple times， in Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs, I can see Java Update 5 is there. But whenever I run a client program, it says I need to install Java.

Is this a registry issue? How to fix it?
