What kind of software can I use to convert Youtube's file to AVI

I download music file from Youtube and use vixy.net to convert them to AVI format, but recently I found vixy doesn’t work or need me to wait for very long time, I don’t kwon what other kind of software can I use to convert Youtobe’s file to AVI..
