从技术上讲IT可以截获未经加密的EMAIL, 但由于成本等原因不是所有的公司都这样做. 通常一个公司或机构对信息安全越敏感(比如银行或政府机构)就越有可能这样做. 如果公司检查EMAIL内容, 一般会在SECURITY POLICY里明确说明, 让雇员事先知道.

Having that said, the rule of thumb is not to use company's email and other resources to do anything not related to the company's business.
